How to start selling on FunPay

Updated

FunPay is an exchange for game goods: in-game currency and items, accounts and keys, top-ups and services. Any registered user can sell. Below is the path from a first listing to money on your card, and where newcomers trip up.

1. What to sell: a game and a section

Listings on FunPay do not sit in one common catalog. They live in a game's sections: for Steam, for example, “Gifts”, “Keys” and “Top-up”. A buyer opens a section and sees a list of offers with the price, reviews and whether the seller is online. Before you post, open the section and look at how many sellers there are and at what prices they sell.

What to sell depends on where you have an edge: your own stock of keys, a cheap supplier or a skill. If you buy the goods for each order, check that a profit is left after the purchase — the price calculator works it out for you.

2. Post a listing

In the section, press the sell button and fill in the form. The fields depend on the section: some need a server or a way of receiving, some a region. The ones common to all:

Links, contact details and requests to pay outside FunPay are forbidden in the listing text and in the chat. What else leads to a ban is in the article “How not to get banned”.

3. Keep the listing near the top

Offers in a section are ordered by the time they were raised. The “Raise offers” button is available once every few hours, and whoever raises on time stands higher. How it works and why you cannot keep up by hand is in the article on raising listings.

4. You got an order

After payment the order shows up in your sales, and every order has its own chat with the buyer. The routine is:

  1. If you need the buyer's details to deliver (a game ID, a server, a nickname), ask for them in the order chat.
  2. Deliver the goods in the same chat.
  3. Ask the buyer to confirm receipt. The money becomes available when the buyer confirms the order or the time runs out.

Answer fast: the buyer can see whether you are online, and a long silence on FunPay often ends in a dispute. A review after the deal affects whether the next buyers choose you.

5. Withdraw the money

Available money is withdrawn to a bank card, through SBP (Russia's instant bank transfers) or in USDT. FunPay charges a fee for withdrawal: as of 12 October 2026 it is 3% to a card or SBP and 6% in USDT. A table with the minimums is in the article “FunPay fee and withdrawal”.
