Auto-delivery on FunPay: how to set it up and where it ends
SelyaFunPay's built-in delivery gives out only what already sits in the listing. Gifts, top-ups and codes bought per order are delivered by a bot. And do not tick “Deactivate after sale”: it hides listings.
“Auto-delivery” on FunPay means two different things: the built-in delivery of FunPay itself and delivery by a bot. They can do different things, and mixing them up is costly.
FunPay's built-in auto-delivery
You can enter goods into a listing in advance, one line per item: keys, codes, account details. After payment FunPay itself gives the buyer the next line. This is convenient if you already have the goods and they come in single pieces.
There is one limit, but an important one: only what already sits in the listing is delivered. Goods you do not have yet — a Steam gift, a top-up by ID, a code bought from a supplier per order — cannot be delivered this way.
How to set up auto-delivery: step by step
- Open your listing and press “Edit”, or create a new one in the right section.
- Tick “Automatic delivery”. It is not in every section: where delivery makes no sense (services, boosting), it is absent.
- In the goods field enter the goods one per line: one key, one code or one set of account details per line.
- In the message to the buyer after payment, write what to do with the goods: where to enter the code, how to sign in to the account.
- Save the listing and check the stock. When the lines run out, the listing stops selling — refill them in advance.
A goods line is at most 140 characters
Each line in the goods field is one item, and FunPay does not accept a line longer than 140 characters: the listing does not save, with the error “Item is too long”. It happens when an instruction is written in the line together with the key. Leave only the goods in the line and move the instruction to the message after payment.
If you have no lines but need the auto-delivery icon, people sometimes enter a message like “order accepted, the goods will arrive in this chat” instead of goods. Then the buyer gets only that after payment, and the goods themselves must be sent by a bot or by you. Be honest in such a line about what happens next, with no “instantly” or “24/7”: if delivery is delayed, the buyer will quote your own words.
Delivery by a bot
A bot or panel watches for new orders, gets the goods itself and writes them to the buyer in the order chat. This is how you can sell what is not in stock: at the moment of payment the bot buys the goods from a supplier and sends them at once.
The buyer's details (a game ID, a server or a nickname) FunPay passes only through the chat. So the bot has to ask for them, understand a free-form answer and remind the buyer if there is no reply. Without that the order hangs, and an hour later the buyer opens a dispute.
The “Deactivate after sale” checkbox
With it, the listing switches off after every purchase. For a single item that is right, for auto-delivery it is not: the listing disappears from the showcase after the first sale, and you do not notice.
A trap we hit ourselves: if a bot saves a listing (changes the price, switches it on or off) and does not pass this checkbox explicitly, FunPay turns it on by default. That is how the checkbox quietly came on for a hundred of our listings until we found the cause.
When the money arrives
The money for an order becomes available after the buyer confirms receipt or when the time runs out. Until then it is pending. More in the article “When the money arrives”.
