How not to get banned on FunPay, GGSel and Plati

Updated

Marketplaces earn on the fee from a deal. Anything that takes a deal around them they punish — from a warning to blocking the account and refusing a payout. Here is what most often leads to a ban.

Links, contacts and paying “directly”

All correspondence with the buyer stays inside the order on the marketplace. Even if the buyer asks for a contact themselves, answer in the order chat. Marketplaces check the correspondence, automatically too.

Promises you cannot keep

“Instantly”, “24/7”, “lifetime guarantee” — if delivery is ever delayed, the buyer will open a dispute and quote your own text. Write what you really do: “Auto-delivery: the goods arrive in the order chat after payment”. GGSel also sometimes will not save a text because of particular words — more in the article on GGSel moderation.

One product on several marketplaces

You can sell the same thing on FunPay, GGSel and Plati if every deal goes through where it was bought. But marketplaces have their own rules about goods listed elsewhere — read them before putting the catalog everywhere. This is what we decided for ourselves:

Disputes and reviews

Most disputes come from silence. The order was not delivered by itself, the seller is asleep, the buyer waits an hour and writes to arbitration. Turn on notifications for orders that need your attention, and answer those first.
