FunPay golden_key: where to get it and why it stops working
Selyagolden_key is you, as far as FunPay is concerned: with it, orders and money are visible. You get it in a minute through F12, and you can hand it only to someone you trust like yourself.
FunPay has no open API for sellers. Every bot and panel works with the site on your behalf, and for that it needs golden_key — the cookie by which FunPay knows you are signed in.
What it is
golden_key is a string of 32 Latin letters and digits. The browser keeps it after you sign in to funpay.com and sends it with every request. Whoever knows the key is you as far as FunPay is concerned: they see orders and chats, change listings, write to buyers, withdraw money.
How to get the key
- Sign in to funpay.com in an ordinary browser on a computer.
- Press F12 and the developer tools open.
- Chrome, Edge, Yandex Browser: the Application tab → Cookies on the left →
https://funpay.com. Firefox: the Storage tab → Cookies. - Find the
golden_keyrow in the list and copy the value from the Value column.
Check the length: exactly 32 characters, with no spaces or quotes. The most common mistake is copying the neighboring cookie PHPSESSID.
Why the key stops working
- You pressed “Sign out” on the site. FunPay closes the session, and the key from that browser no longer works. The bot or panel loses access at once.
- You changed the password. Old sessions close, and the key with them.
To get access back, sign in to FunPay again, get a new key and paste it where the old one was.
Who must never get the key
The key gives full access to the account and the money on it, bypassing the password. Do not send it to support chats, to third-party “account check” sites or to people who promise to raise your sales. A cloud bot also keeps the key on its own server. If you trust it, that is your choice, but know that the key is not with you.
If the key may have leaked, press “Sign out” on FunPay or change the password: the old key stops working.
