Plati and the Digiseller API: Seller ID, key and what the API cannot do
SelyaPlati connects through the Digiseller account: you need the Seller ID and the API key, both at once. A product cannot be deleted through the API — only switched off.
Plati.market is the showcase of the Digiseller platform. Products, sales and money live in the Digiseller account, and the API is its too. So all the settings for a bot are in the account at my.digiseller.com.
What you need to connect
- Seller ID — the number in the top right corner of the my.digiseller.com account.
- API key — in the Digiseller account settings.
You need both: the key alone without the Seller ID will not work.
What the API cannot do
| Task | What to do |
|---|---|
| Delete a product | Not possible through the API. You can switch it off, but deleting it for good is only in the Digiseller account. |
| See withdrawals and advertising payments | The API does not give them: the statement will have only sales. The rest is in the account. |
| Buyers' claims | Also only in the account. Check them at least once a day: a claim must be answered in time. |
| Refund a buyer | Through the account. |
If you write your own script
A trap that cost us time: asked for the seller's product list with a large page size (2,000 rows), Digiseller returns it empty, with no error. The script decides there are no products. Request the list in pages of 500 and join them.
Money
In every sale Digiseller shows how much reached you after the fee and when that money will be unfrozen. Compare the “to account” amount with the price — that is your real fee on Plati. You can put it into the price calculator.
